May 16th Rotunda Roundup

Stay connected for news and updates

After a slow week, this weekend was a busy one in sports - check out our coverage right here on Streaking the Lawn!  This Rotunda Roundup will have links to some other related analysis around the web.

Men's lacrosse won a thriller in overtime; they will play next Saturday at noon according to College Crosse.  The Washington Times comments on the ill-advised shot by Bucknell that gave the Hoos a chance to come back.  Also, if you haven't seen it already, check out the hidden-ball trick that Maryland pulls off for a goal against UNC.

More good news came for men's tennis on Friday - not only did they advance in the NCAA tourney, but it appears Drew Courtney will be healthy enough to play on next weekend.

Check out this mock draft that has Danny Hultzen getting picked 3rd overall.  (Thanks to "Hoos Crazy Now" over on The Sabre for pointing it out).

Finally, Jerry Ratcliffe has an interesting piece on the future of ACC basketball, where there have been 8 coaching changes since Tony Bennett was hired just over two years ago.
