"I'm excited. I love corner. I play that now. I'm very athletic and I have smooth hips and quick feet so I think it will be a good fit."

"I took a lot away from Coach London's talk with us as a class. He expects us to each finish our senior year strong in the classroom. I also realized how much UVa is like a family and how much people are willing to help."

Ratings are all over the place

Canady came on the scene late in HS. Earlier in his career, he was undersized and didn’t have the speed to make up for it. However, as he came on, he began to get noticed.
He has plus size for a CB, and he is able to use that size both in coverage and in run support. He is well suited for the cover-2 type defense that the Hoos play, because he is best when keeping the play in front of him.
Canady could also be a valuable asset at WR with his size and speed.
