StreakingtheLawn is proud to announce that Will Campbell (CLAS '09) will be joining the StreakingtheLawn staff as Baseball Editor. As a former catcher on the Virginia Baseball team, Will brings to the table first-hand experience, having been a part of the 2009 Virginia squad that made a remarkable run through the Regional of Death, the school's first Super Regional, and on into the College World Series for the first time in school history.
Will transferred to the University of Virginia after playing a season at Old Dominion University and walked on to the team as a second year. Having played baseball since he was 5 and made two trips to Omaha to watch the CWS by middle school, it only seems appropriate that even after graduation, Will continues his passion for baseball through this site.
Off the diamond, Will was a history major and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll. He currently works for a strategy consulting firm in Washington, D.C., and you can find him tweeting @willcampbell45.
