Sinead Farrelly named to Soccer America MVPs team

Virginia senior midfielder Sinead Farrelly continues to rake in the postseason accolades. The Midlothian native was named to the 2010 Soccer America MVPs Second Team, one of six ACC players to have made the list.

Earlier this month, Farrelly was named an NSCAA First Team All-American, only the fifth player in Virginia history to receive such honors. She was also named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and was a semifinalist for the 2010 Hermann Trophy. Just yesterday, she was selected as the VaSID State Player of the Year.

Farrelly started all 22 games this season and led the team in scoring with 12 goals and seven assists for 31 points.
