What happens when you take 8 of the most recent Virginia Cavaliers' basketball teams, stick them in an arena, and tell them to battle to the finish? Wahoo Madness does just that, and today we pit the 2000-01 team against the 2006-07 team. Following the jump we've got the breakdown analysis as well as a play-by-play for those who want to follow the action.
This game could not have been any better, and despite taking a big 10-point lead at the half, the 2000-01 relied on a buzzer-beater from Travis Watson to win the game and take home the crown as the greatest team of the decade!

Once again, all five Cavaliers from the 2000-01 squad put up double-digit scoring, while the 2006-07 team relied on 19 points a piece from J.R. Reynolds and Sean Singletary. While the 2007 team shot over 50% from the field, this still just wasn't enough for a 2001 team looking to bounce back from that loss to Gonzaga (in Gonzaga's breakout "Cinderella" year) almost a full decade ago.
