The day is finally upon us, as six of the best teams in the country (or at least three of the best teams in the country) face off this afternoon in East Rutherford, NJ. The Big City Classic starts at 1:00 p.m. at the New Meadowlands Stadium as the first event to take place in the new Giants' stadium. This is a great day and event for the sport, which will be shown on ESPNU.

Both teams are 10-0 on the season and represent the last two undefeated teams in the country. Virginia is coming off an 11-10 victory at No. 4 Maryland. The Cavaliers got four goals from each of Chris Bocklet and Steele Stanwick.
Virginia's Bocklet and North Carolina's Billy Bitter share this week's co-ACC Player of the Week honors for their performances against Maryland.
Also today will be Delaware-Hofstra and Syracuse-Princeton. I'll make a tweet or two about that, but the real headliner for the country is this 1-2 matchup. Faceoff for the game is approximately 4:30, so stay tuned, and GO HOOS!
