The ACC announced this morning game times for next Saturday's matchup against Florida State. Virginia will host Florida State at noon, and the game will be televised on the ACC Network (formerly Raycom Sports Network). This announcement comes following the Cavaliers' 48-7 rout of VMI, and the Seminoles' 31-0 rout of Wake Forest. In addition, the Virginia athletics department has declared a "white out" for this game, and white "We Are One" t-shirts will be distributed upon entry at Scott Stadium.
"This effort is designed for all of us to show that we're unified in our support of Mike London and our football team," Virginia Executive Associate Director of Athletics Jon Oliver said. "The fans created an exciting atmosphere at the home opener. It's time to take this effort to another level to create a great home field advantage for the first ACC game under Coach London against one of the most storied programs in college football."
Fans are asked to "white out" Scott Stadium for London's ACC debut, which I interpret to mean that fans are being asked to white out / erase the past 9 years' worth of ACC despair, for a new era has arrived.
