Virginia Forward Caroline Miller Named ACC Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week

Virginia junior forward Caroline Miller has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week, along with Duke junior goalkeeper Tara Campbell.

From the release:

Virginia's Miller scored two goals, including the golden goal in the 93rd minute of the win over Florida State. The Rockville, Md., junior has scored the game-winner in all three Virginia ACC wins this season, including two in overtime. Miller is the first conference player to score two overtime goals in ACC play since UNC's Meghan Klingenberg and Casey Noguiera both accomplished the feat in 2007. Miller has scored five of Virginia's nine goals in ACC play this season.

Always a great thing to see both the men's and the women's team get recognized for a fantastic weekend well played.  This is actually the second time Caroline Miller has been recognized as the ACC Player of the Week -- the first came just a couple weeks ago, for the week of September 27.
