Caroline Miller is on quite a tear.
Just ask North Carolina and Florida State how they feel about the junior from Rockville, Maryland and I'm sure you'll understand what I mean.
Two weeks ago, Miller's double-overtime golden goal gave the Cavaliers their first-ever victory over the Tar Heels.
Last night, playing at home in Charlottesville for the first time in nearly a month, Miller did it again. This time it was "only" in the first overtime, but her header off a Lauren Alwine cross in the 93rd minute sent the 13th ranked Seminoles packing and gave Virginia a 4-3 conference win.
The game-winner was Miller's second of the night. She also scored 10 minutes earlier to give the Cavs a 3-2 lead. She now has 12 goals on the season - by far the most of anyone on the team. In fact, she has more than the next three highest goal-scorers combined.
Virginia (9-3-2, 3-2-1) returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Raleigh and take on the Wolfpack of N.C. State (9-4-2, 0-3-2 ACC). That game starts at 7pm.
