I don't think I need to point out what a critical game this week's is. Yes, I know it's Duke, but the fact that we've lost to them in each of the past three years means that I still remain worried about today's matchup.

The good news is that London has sort of "met or exceeded expectations" by leading this team to bowl eligibility, so any win going forward is really just gravy. That said, "beating Duke" is not really "just gravy."

Fun Facts!

  • Last year's combined score of 103 points was, at the time, the second highest scoring game in ACC history. This is probably not something we should be proud about. It was Duke.
  • Michael Rocco should have all day long to hang out in the pocket today. Virginia is second in the conference and 13th in the country in sacks allowed (0.89 per game), while Duke is eighth in the conference at just 1.67 sacks a game. (Virginia is 10th in the conference for sacks, at 1.56 per game, but is second in the conference in tackles for loss.)
  • Virginia RB Kevin Parks averages 67.2 yards per game, and his season total 538 total rushing yards puts him as the eighth most productive freshman in the country.

As always, leave your pre-, in- and post-game thoughts here!
