Notes: After graduating from DeMatha Catholic, Latimer has spent the past year playing at Fork Union Military Academy, which gave him great exposure to some of the other top prep schools, as well as some junior colleges. He was third on his team in tackles and had four interceptions as safety. He has a tendency to jump the gun when making a tackle, resulting in not much more than a swipe at the ball carrier's legs. But he's very quick and athletic and doesn't usually get tied up for too long. Fans should be excited about this one.
"People are stronger and faster here. Not everyone in high school has that much talent. You get to the level where you're playing against Hargrave and there are 11 guys on offense that are monsters, it's different. Everyone's going to big schools. The speed and momentum of the game is much faster." -- on his time at Fork Union.
