Other Offers:Duke, East Carolina, Kansas State, Towson
Notes: At 205 lbs, Darius Lee's size leaves him in an undesirable spot. He's too big to play safety. He's too small to be an outside linebacker, which is how he was recruited. Troubling. Hopefully he has spent the past year and will spend the upcoming summer doing nothing but adding lean muscle. ESPN says he's capable of making game-changing plays against both the run and the pass. A redshirt wouldn't hurt here.
"[The UVa coaches] told me they would like me at the outside linebacker position. I'll be playing the run but mostly I'll be playing the slots (receivers) and checking the running backs. They want to use my speed and athleticism to their advantage so they won't want me getting super big or super huge."
