We somehow made it through the past three days without any March Madness going on, but it's finally Thursday, which means it's Game Day again! It sure was nice to have all the games at night, so that there could be some semblance of productivity in the workplace.
Don't forget Debbie Ryan's Virginia Cavaliers will be hosting Boston College tonight in the Sweet Sixteen round of the Women's NIT at 7:00 p.m. Those of you in Charlottesville should swing by to check out what could be, but hopefully won't be, Coach Ryan's last game as head coach.
For everyone else, here are a couple points to ponder:
- Of tonight's matchups, Arizona and Butler are the only two "outsiders" to the Sweet Sixteen, with Arizona upsetting No. 4 Texas and Butler upsetting No. 1 Pitt. Do either of these teams stand a chance at moving on to the Elite Eight? I would think Butler has the best shot, against a questionable Wisconsin squad, but I think we all know that my vote is on Arizona to pull off the upset.
- How would Jimmer celebrate a national championship?
- Who else is pretty excited that they don't have to turn back to Tru TV for the next 51 weeks?
- Okay now honestly, who might start watching Tru TV's reality shows anyway? My hand is up.
