The ACC announced today the TV schedule for the first few weeks of the 2011 football season. Virginia will host William & Mary on September 3 to start the 2011 campaign with a kickoff time of 6:00 p.m. The conference also announced that the Virginia-North Carolina matchup on September 17 will kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
The contest with William & Mary will be broadcasted on ESPN3.com. The south's oldest rivalry, between the Hoos and the Heels, will be televised on ESPNU, and will be each teams' ACC opener.
In between the two games is a road trip to Indiana. The TV schedule and kickoff times for the Big 10 have not yet been announced.
As previously announced, Virginia will travel to Miami for a Thursday night ESPN contest on October 27 at 8:00 p.m.
The last time Virginia played William & Mary was in Al Groh's final season in Charlottesville, after an embarrassing 14-26 loss against the Tribe. Last year, the Hoos fell to Carolina 10-44 in Charlottesville in Mike London's first year at the helm.
