May 11th Rotunda Roundup

Good afternoon.  It's Wednesday, which means we are just 2 days away from a big weekend of UVA sports, featuring a big weekend baseball series against Miami and NCAA tournament action for men's and women's lacrosse and tennis.

Maryland's hire of Mark Turgeon is making some waves in the ACC basketball world.  ESPN's hoops blog talks about the new style we could expect to see the Terps playing next year, a dramatic reversal from Gary Williams's.  It'll be interesting to see the teams battle next season, and those battles are already happening in recruiting.

The Washington Times previews this weekend's men's lacrosse first round game for the Bratton-less Cavaliers and here is a really in-depth and informative preview of Bucknell if you'd like to get to know the opponent.

Finally, here's a story in the Daily Progress on Will Roberts's exciting season as well as his goals for the end of the year.

Also, for those in and around Charlottesville, check out the "Men's Four Miler" being run on Father's Day.  The race, which has a mission of raising money and awareness for men's health, actually finishes through the tunnel in Scott Stadium.  Pretty cool.
