The ACC announced the pairings and game times for the 2011 ACC Baseball Championship this week down in Durham. Despite a three-game sweep by the Tar Heels, Virginia received the overall No. 1 seed and is at the top of Division A for the second consecutive year.
Also in Division A are No. 4 North Carolina, No. 5 Miami and No. 8 Wake Forest.
On the other side, No. 2 Florida State is the top seed of Division B and is joined by No. 3 Georgia Tech, No. 6 Clemson and No. 7 NC State.
Under the pool-play format, each team will play one game against each of the other three opponents in its division Wednesday through Saturday. The two teams with the best records within their respective division brackets will advance to the title game on Sunday, with the winner earning the ACC's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Virginia will face Wake Forest on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. The Cavaliers will then play Miami on Friday at 11:00 a.m., and North Carolina on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday's title game between the division pool-play winners is set for 1:00 p.m.
All 13 games of this year's ACC Baseball Championship will be televised for the fifth straight year via RSN, a regional network that covers the entire conference footprint. The full schedule follows the jump.
