June 3rd Rotunda Roundup

Congrats to Steele Stanwick on winning the Tewaaraton Award.  If you are like me and didn't know much about this bizarrely named honor (it is given to the NCAA lacrosse player of the year), you could read about the trophy itself here.  Also, read this story on how the Hoos won the title...as a team.

Cavalier Insider breaks down this weekend's Charlottesville Regional team-by-team.

There's also a story there about Dallas Mavericks coack Rick Carlisle's Wahoo roots.

ACC blogger Heather Dinich briefly remembered that Virginia is in the ACC - she talks about a few UVA football players primed for breakout seasons.

Speaking of football, Curtis Grant, the 5-star LB who Virginia recruited heavily before he picked OSU, may be examining his options (and reconsidering UVA) if you believe a source over at WahooBasketball... I have no information on this story...but I sure do want to believe him!
