2011 ACC Football Kickoff: Virginia Represented by Chase Minnifield and Kris Burd

It's time for the 2011 ACC Football Kickoff -- what lesser conferences simply refer to as Media Days -- and just because you can't make it to Pinehurst to hobnob with those who just want to know when the ice cream bar opens doesn't mean you still can't enjoy the action. Happening as I type is a live question and answer session by ACC Commissioner John Swofford, which you can stream until 1:30 p.m. on the ACC's kickoff website.

From 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., two players from each school will be available for questioning. Representing Virginia are CB Chase Minnifield and WR Kris Burd, who will be on at 4:50 p.m.  You can stream the Q&A session on the ACC's website.

Tomorrow will involve some ACC football rules / officiating session, and some discussion on ACC's BCS and other bowl partners, including BCS executive director Bill Hancock.  Interviews with the head coaches will take place from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., with UVA head coach Mike London coming on at 4:26 p.m. Again, you can stream the session online

The 2011 ACC Football Preseason Poll will be announced early afternoon on Monday, July 25. After it is announced by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA), the complete poll will be available on theACC.com and we'll post our thoughts following the announcement.

Finally, the 2011 ACC Football Preseason All-ACC Team will be announced on Wednesday, July 27.
