Every week, your friendly STL team submits a ballot for the BlogPoll, a weekly College Top 25 poll that's put together exactly in the same format as the media or coaches poll, except that you have a bunch of homers casting votes. No, we didn't rank Virginia up there (yet), but we did think it might be worth everyone's while to show you our ballot and see where we went awry. First, here's the official Week 3 BlogPoll, with commentary here.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
The delta shows the change from our own Week 2 ballot, not change as compared to the final BlogPoll. This week's ballot was compiled by TikiUVA and myself. We submitted our ballots to each other and then used magic math to figure out who goes where. Basically, neither of us adjusted the top of our ballots at all.
Tiki ranked the Top 3 as follows: Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma. I ranked them as: LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama.
You'll notice that our ballot is pretty close to what the other BlogPoll voters think. We still have Maryland as a ranked team, but that's mostly my fault (I had them at 22, Tiki had them unranked. I liked their win against the crippled Miami, and I think this week's off week will give them enough time to make some adjustments to their pitiful redzone offense, and to have studied enough game film to maybe even beat West Virginia this week.
USC checked in at No. 24 in the BlogPoll, but didn't make either of my or Tiki's Top 25. Is there something everyone else is seeing that we're missing? Also, Tiki had Michigan coming in at 25, while I had Temple.
Where did we go wrong? Let us know your thoughts.
