ACC Announces 2011-12 Virginia Women's Basketball Schedule

The ACC announced the 2011-12 women's basketball today. For Virginia, it includes five televised games, including hosting perennial powerhouse Tennessee on November 20 on ESPN3 and Florida State on January 19 on ESPNU.

The schedule also includes three games to be televised on RSN -- at Maryland (1/16), at North Carolina (2/3) and vs. Wake Forest (2/24). It also includes a trip to Hawaii to face Texas, Hawaii and California in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort Showcase.

Virginia will have an exhibition game on November 5 to show off new head coach Joanne Boyle's Cavaliers before the season officially tips off on November 11 against Appalachian State.

The Hoos will be hosting their annual Marriott Cavalier Classic, which Virginia has won for the past eight straight years. This year's competition includes Elon, Wagner and UMass.
