Virginia Basketball is right around the corner. Many moons ago, this would be celebrated with a Midnight Madness event at U Hall, a massive student pep rally that included changing, highlights reels, contests, cheerleaders, players and coaches designed to get the entire student body hyped and excited about Wahoo Hoops. No one would be surprised if then head coach Pete Gillen was spotted handing out free Domino's pizza for the devoted fans. But as the team's performance dwindled, so too did this fanfare experience.

The staff here at Streaking The Lawn is looking to bring the hype back for Wahoo Nation through a virtual Midnight Madness right here at! From midnight to midnight on Monday, October 29, 2012, Streaking The Lawn will be transformed to your one-stop source for all things Virginia Basketball!

What's on tap? Check back often as we post up player profiles, opponent previews, blogger Q&As, exclusive interviews and much, much more for both the upcoming men's and women's basketball campaigns! We'll also have a couple contests running throughout the day where you could win a pair of UVA lower level basketball tickets to an ACC game, or a personally autographed photograph of Tony Bennett made out to you!
