What a strange season it's been so far. The past four weeks have been a bit of a blur and I have no idea how the Hoos have managed to drop all four of them. Phillip Sims will get his second start of the season as the Hoos look, once again, to right the ship.

Virginia's only 45-40-2 all time on Homecomings, and is down 42-32-2 overall in the series.

As we reported yesterday, Maryland will be without their leading rusher in Wes Brown. Normally I would get really excited about this, but we've seen that Virginia hasn't really capitalized on this so far this season.

Same question as last week -- is THIS the week the Hoos finally get the win? Every home game going forward is absolutely essential to landing a bowl bid, so every game should be treated as though the season hinges upon it. Because it does.
