Complete and ongoing coverage.
It's senior night for the Cavaliers and what better way to celebrate than to host the South's Oldest Rivalry in Scott Stadium on a Thursday night on ESPN?
It's the 117th meeting between the two schools -- the fourth longest American college football rivalry in the WORLD. UNC went on an offensive tear last week, racking up 50 points against Georgia Tech, but at the same time, lost the game after having given up 9 touchdowns and 68 points.
Virginia's had a flurry of offensive firepower themselves as of late, putting up a combined 74 points in two games. In no small part, this is because the Cavalier offensive line has found a way to click, offering both Michael Rocco and Phillip Sims more protection in the past two games than they've seen all season.
The team whose defense shows up first will win this matchup. For Virginia, the mentality is easy: win and advance. The Hoos need to win their next two games to earn a postseason bowl berth. For Carolina, nothing is on the line. At all. They're just being jerks.
Leave your pre-, in- and post-game thoughts here, and GO HOOS!
