Mike London and his coaching staff added a third member to Virginia's 2013 recruiting class today, when Andre Levrone committed to the Cavaliers. Levrone, a Wide Receiver who plays at Good Counsel in Maryland, chose the Hoos over offers from Auburn and Mississippi State. Levrone, who is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247, joins his Good Counsel teammate, Quarterback Brendan Marshall, and O-Lineman Sadiq Olanrewaju in Virginia's 2013 class.
Levrone, as well as a bunch of other Virginia recruiting targets, took in today's practice on Grounds, and the Good Counsel standout decided go ahead and commit while he was in town. In addition to Brendan Marshall, Levrone has a bunch of other talented teammates, including UVA 2013 targets Kirk Garner, Kendall Fuller, Marcel Ngachie and Dorian O'Daniel. We'll see if Marshall and Levrone can have success trying to lure their teammates to Charlottesville over the next few months. The Good Counsel duo will also join a pair of current Cavaliers, Vincent Croce and E.J. Scott, when they join the team in the summer of next year.
This commitment shouldn't come as much of a surprise to UVA fans. Levrone has been high on Virginia for a long while, and his commitment to Mike London and his staff seemed almost inevitable. The addition of Levrone means that all three of Virginia's commits for the 2013 class thus far are all slotted to play on the offensive side of the ball. In addition to Levrone, the Hoos could add several more receivers in the 2013 class, with the most likely being Virginia Beach native Zack Jones. Jones, who holds offers from Virginia and Illinois, is the brother of current UVA running back Perry Jones, and it wouldn't come as a shock to see Virginia land him when he decides to commit.
I'm orange and blue through and through..hell yea that means I'm a Hoo..Go Cavs!!!!! #UVA
