Wahoo basketball fans continue to be on "TJ McConnell Watch." Arizona sources announced last night that the point guard transfer, who previously narrowed his choices to UVA and UA, had decided to become a Wildcat. However, a great deal of uncertainty has emerged; not only has there been a lack of confirmation from the McConnell camp, but TJ's father disputed that any decision had been made at all:
McConnell's dad told me at 10 p.m. last night that there would be no decision until today at earliest -- so aforementioned report def bogus.

Spring football practice is underway. One thing nobody is worried about is the squad's depth at the running back position. The team has been enjoying their road practices around the state.
Freshmen led the way in yesterday's series-clinching 4-1 baseball victory over Wake Forest, rocketing the team back into the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 poll. The Hoos go for the sweep tonight at 7PM on ESPNU, and Mike Scott will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The men's tennis team took two more ACC matches. (yawn)
