For Thomas Rogers, his time at UVA has certainly been an adventure. Rogers, a Farmville, VA native, went to High School at Fork Union Military Academy a mere 45 minutes outside Charlottesville. As a walk on, Thomas saw action in six games his first year and seven games his second.
Last season, Rogers continued improving upon his minutes, getting on the court in 10 games. Four of those games, Florida State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech, were against ACC foes. Rogers still has no points in his career, but nabbed five rebounds and dished two assists last season.
Prior to the start of this season, Coach Bennett rewarded Thomas for his hard work and dedication to the program with a full scholarship for his final year.
Justin Anderson definitely approved.

Look for Rogers to come in off the bench late in games with a big lead, and know that the Wahoo faithful will be cheering him along the entire time. Congratulations on the scholarship...it's nice to see people recognized for their achievements.
