Last Meeting: Virginia 86, VCU 70 (Nov. 13, 1998)

It's been almost 15 years to this day when these two teams last met, and while the Hoos hold a 10-1 all-time edge over the Rams, throw all of that out the window, because this VCU squad under Shaka Smart is just two years removed from a Final Four trip, when they announced their presence to the world.

Don't let them fool you as to how they're being looked over or how they're an underdog in this fight. While Vegas favors Virginia by less than a handful, that's testament in and of itself as to how much respect VCU is getting this game. The Hoos went undefeated in the ACC at home last year, with wins over both North Carolina and Duke.
