Lineman Jacob Fieler committed to play football at Virginia this evening, according to various reports on Twitter. According to head coach Mike London's Twitter feed, Fieler will enroll in school for the second semester alongside Gatorade Player of the Year Andrew Brown. Fieler is Virginia's third commitment on the offensive line and 14th overall for 2014.

Fieler checks in at 6'5" and around 300 pounds, depending on which recruiting service you read. He's currently doing a post grad year at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia, and he originally played high school football at Parkersburg South high school in Parkersburg, WV. He is currently unrated by 247Sports and Rivals.com. It's unclear at the moment whether Fieler will project as a guard or a tackle at the college level.

Fieler joins Fredericksburg's Stephen Moss and Burlington, North Carolina's Will Richardson among Virginia's offensive line haul for 2014. Offensive line recruiting has been an emphasis for Virginia in recent recruiting cycles. The Cavaliers project to have 11 scholarship underclassmen on the offensive line next season.
