My Goodbye to Streaking The Lawn

This is a bittersweet, final post at Streaking the Lawn for me. Effective today, I will be leaving the team at STL and accepting a position at CavsCorner.com on the Rivals network.

As excited as I am for this new opportunity, I will certainly miss being a part of the staff here. The writers here are hard working and passionate, and all bring terrific insight into the world of UVa sports. The SBNation network has a unique, innovative vision for covering sports in today's sports media climate, and I'm excited to see what they come up with next.

I feel that Virginia football and basketball recruiting are both in great shape right now, and Wahoo fans should feel very confident about continued success in those areas. In my time at Streaking The Lawn, the Cavaliers have added some very talented prospects to both programs, and I expect that to continue into the coming years.

Finally, I would like to thank Brian (or as you know him, TheUVaFool), for allowing me to write for Streaking The Lawn over the past two years. Without him, this new opportunity would not have been possible. I would also like to thank everyone that took time to read my pieces on the site. I've had a great time dialoguing with you all either on the site or on Twitter.
