After Duke ruined our perfect ACC record using what the experts agree was nothing short of sorcery, Virginia faces a Florida State squad that has rattled off three wins in a row, two of which were on the road. If you're getting the strange sense of deja vu, it's because yes, the Hoos JUST faced the 'Noles two weeks ago.

I remember fondly the days of the ACC double-round-robin format.

In any event, we're all pretty familiar with FSU from the last meeting. Their guys are big -- like the land of giants. Thankfully, they are Seminoles, so they're not too bright and, as ThreeRunHomer pointed out, have no idea how to use size to their advantage. Hopefully this matchup is just more of the same (except fewer injuries on the Virginia side this time).

This afternoon is the first of a three-game homestand for the Hoos, who face North Carolina on Monday and Virginia Tech next week.
