Virginia Cavaliers Basketball Player Profile: Rob Vozenilek

Player profiles continue with fourth year walk on Rob Voz.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Rob Vozenilek proved himself a valuable member of the much beloved "Green Machine" last season that helped prepare the starters week in and week out. Last year, however, the reserves got in the game on a much more frequent basis.

Rob played in twelve games last season, averaging 2.5 minutes and scoring seven points and grabbing six rebounds. Voz got his first basket of the season against Liberty on 23 November 2013. Against Hampton, Rob notched his career high with three points, five rebounds, and two assists. The Green Machine even got some playing time throughout the ACC schedule, and Rob scored two points against Wake.

This season, Rob will be utilized in the same way as last season. While not glamorous, his role is pivotal in getting the team ready to take the court. Also, Voz was never afraid to put up a shot, which you've got to like.
