Virginia Wrestling is HERE -- watch this video and get HYPED

Virginia basketball isn't the only top-10 team that the Hoos have!

Virginia Wrestling is off to one of the program's hottest starts. The Hoos have an entire week to rest and prepare for a huge matchup on Monday against No. 4 Ohio State.

Here are some things that you need to know:

1. Virginia is ranked No. 10 in the country.

As a team, they're awesome. But as individuals, they're pretty good too. Here are the individual Hoos that are ranked by InterMat:

  • No. 10 George Dicamillo (133)
  • No. 11 Joe Spisak (141)
  • No. 9 Gus Sako (149)
  • No. 2 Nick Sulzer (165)
  • No. 10 Blaise Butler (174)
  • No. 15 Zack Nye (197)

2. Both squads are undefeated.

For Virginia, 5-0, this means one win over a ranked team, No. 23 North Dakota State. Ohio State, 3-0, has not yet faced any ranked teams.

3. But Ohio State is really good.

They have this one guy named Logan Stieber. He is a three-time national champion, twice at 133 and last year at 141. He has a legitimate chance of winning a fourth national championship this year. But our guy Spisak at 141 is pretty good too. Spisak has been to the NCAAs three times and most recently won a championship at the Hokie Open with a 7-1 win over No. 16 Joey Ward of North Carolina.

5. You can stream the meet here on STL.

We'll have the live stream of Monday night's meet right here on STL, so don't go anywhere.
