The Jefferson-Eppes Trophy is resided in Charlottesville for three years now (mostly because the two teams haven't played in three years). Whatever, let's make it a fourth and shock the world by taking down the No. 2 team in the country!
What does Virginia need to do for an upset? The defense needs to return to its early season form. This means prevent the big plays (which it's had tremendous difficulty doing over the past couple games) and get those turnovers again. Offensively, the Hoos need to convert red zone opportunities into touchdowns. Not field goals, but touchdowns. UVA is pretty good at eating the clock, but that's only helpful if the end result is seven points. And with a team like Florida State, you won't want to leave any points on the field.
Keep it tuned right here for all your pre-, in- and post-game comments and discussion! As always, Go HOOS!
