The MAC Hermann semifinalists were announced today and Virginia's women's soccer team has three of the sixteen contenders!

For those that don't know:

The MAC Hermann Trophy is the highest individual intercollegiate award administered by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Our very own Morgan Brian won the award last year as a Junior and she is again one of the semifinalists.

Brian is second on the team in points with 33, having tallied 10 goals and 13 assists. And she did that while playing in about 8 games fewer than her counterparts because of her duties with the U.S. National team.

Joining her are Senior Danielle Colaprico and Junior Makenzy Doniak. Doniak leads the team in points and goals (49 points, 19 goals, 11 assists) while Colaprico leads the team in assists (18) and is third on the team in points (30).

The finalists are announced in mid-December (the top six will be chosen from these sixteen) and the winner will be announced in early January.

There is a "fan vote" portion of the MAC Hermann Trophy, so make sure you cast your vote below!
