Cavaliers fell to Vanderbilt 9-8 last night in game one. They try to turn the page tonight against Vanderbilt's Ace, Tyler Beede.

What: Virginia Cavaliers v. Vanderbilt Commodores

Time: 8:00 PM
Where: TD Ameritrade Park, Omaha, Nebraska
TV: ESPN

Last Meeting: Vanderbilt won 9-8 last night.

Betting Lines: Both the Commodores and Cavaliers are (-110) on the moneyline

What's At Stake: For UVa, it is win or go home. The Hoos have to beat the Commodores tonight if they want to keep their hopes of a National Championship alive. For Vanderbilt, if they win, they win it all.

The Commodores will send their Ace and first round draft pick, Tyler Beede to the mound while UVa will counter with Brandon Waddell. Beede has struggled a bit in his last couple starts, including last week against UC Irvine where he surrendered four earned runs on three hits and three walks in just 3.2 innings. Waddell on the other hand has been seemingly lights out since the ACC Tournament at the end of May.

The two teams combined to score the most runs in TD Ameritrade - College World Series history last night. Tonight, I expect them to get back to the normal scoring. UVa had 15 hits and if they can get close to that again tonight they should come out on top.
