UVA Football Recruiting Roundup! Robinson Set to Decide, Polk Shops Around

As the season nears, the intensity ratchets up on the trial.

Rafael Suanes-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to another addition of Recruiting Roundup! Today, we break down tomorrow's big announcement from a key TE/DL, and more.

Let's go!

Decision Coming:

It has been over a week since UVa's last commitment for the class of 2015, but that could change tomorrow night, as Georgia DE/TE G.G. Robinson will make his decision public. The three-star standout boasts a dozen FBS offers, but is down to Virginia and Louisville. This should come to nobody's surprise, as the 6-4, 260 pounder put the Cavs and Cards at the top of his last that he released last month. Robinson has often spoke highly of the Cavaliers and Mike London, but the Louisville coaching staff has been a big draw as well. New UL defensive coordinator Todd Granthem comes to the Cards from UGA, and has made recruiting the state of Georgia a priority. This one could go either way. Keep it right here for the latest.

Commit Visits Elsewhere:

UVa offensive line pledge Grant Polk made headlines over the weekend, by heading north to Gainsville to visit the University of Florida. Polk held offers from several schools in the Sunshine State before committing to UVa, but not the Gators. Unless UF decides to offer, we don't think that Cavalier fans have anything to worry about. Polk indicated on social media awhile ago that he plans on enrolling early, which is good news for UVa. The three-star lineman will take his official visit to Charlottesville next month.

Speaking of early enrollees, STL caught up with new linebacker commit, Kareem McDonald and asked him about his plan for admission. McDonald told us that January enrollment is something that he is definitely considering, but he is not exactly sure at this time.

Settle Sets Date:

Four-star defensive tackle Tim Settle announced via twitter this week that he will announce his decision on December 20th. Settle will likely take all five of his official visits before committing to his school of choice. The 6-3, 305 pound mammoth DT released his top 15 back in May that included Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina, NC State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Texas, UCLA, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. Settle has gone underground this summer, without doing much media, so it is difficult to get a read on his plans for the fall. The Stonewall Jackson standout has been to Charlottesville numerous times and has a terrific relationship with coach London. Even if UVa does not get an official visit, don't be surprised to see Settle pop up at a game or two this season.

Farrar to Washington State:

We will close the football portion of the Roundup with news that broke late last night. Class of 2014 signee Jeff Farrar has elected to sign with Washington State. The California native arrived in Charlottesville earlier this summer, but left for home before the start of camp. We are not going to delve any further into the matter. Farrar is an extremely classy young man and we wish him nothing but the best.

Elite Camp:

Switching to basketball, where head coach Tony Bennettt will hold his annual elite camp this Saturday at John Paul Jones arena. More names will surface throughout the week, but as of now, we know that the following prospects will attend...

Clayton Hughes- SG, 6-5, 190 pounds

Dejuan Clayon- G, 6-0, 155 pounds.

Quate McKinzie- PF, 6-7 205 pounds.

With all scholarships accounted for for 2015, Bennett and company can focus on the all-important class of 2016. We'll have more on the camp next week.

That will do it for this edition of Recruiting Roundup. Keep it right here for the latest on the Robinson announcement and everything else in the world of UVa recruiting.

Have a great week everybody!
