Virginia beat the #21 Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, 23-21. The win was Virginia's first in ACC play since 2012.
The Hoos' defense led the way, forcing three first-half turnovers and holding Louisville's offense inside its own 25-yard line for the entire third quarter.
Kicker Ian Frye was clutch for Virginia, kicking three field goals. His 47-yarder set a new season long, and his 42-yarder with under four minutes to play gave Virginia a lead it would never relinquish.
The win puts the Hoos at 2-1 on the year heading into the season's first road game next week at BYU.
