Another week and another Clemson and Florida State victory. The top of the ACC seem to be on a collision course for November 7th. That shouldn't be a surprise to many, but where do the rest of the teams of the conference fall into place?
Here's what the rankings looked like last week, but entering week 7, this is how we think the ACC stacks up:
1. Clemson Tigers (6-0, 3-0). Last week: 1
The Tigers easily dispatched with BC this past week. They'll face their biggest road test since taking on Louisville in early September this weekend when they head to Miami. The Clemsoning didn't happen this past weekend, but most expect it either this week or next. Otherwise, we could be seeing the Tigers in the playoffs.
2. Florida State Seminoles (6-0, 4-0). Last week: 2
Louisville was no match for the Seminoles who could be playing their best football of the year. Golson was stellar with 372 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Dalvin Cook moved into the conversation of the "2nd best RB in America" with 163 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. FSU travels to Atlanta to take on the triple option that hasn't this season this weekend.
3. Duke Blue Devils (5-1, 2-0). Last week: 3
The Blue Devils had the weekend off to prepare for Virginia Tech. They might have needed it since it appears Michael Brewer could return for the Hokies making them an actual football team. The Blue Devils have won 5 of their 6 teams, and like many of the teams that follow them, we have no idea if they are really good or not.
4. North Carolina Tar Heels (5-1, 2-0). Last week: 4
When UNC is in the process of demolishing Wake, do not tweet that they could be the best team in the ACC because it is disrespectful to Clemson fans.
@WillC_45 and they may be 3rd best and you are def a joke #hater

Clemson fans are special people.
5. Pittsburgh Panthers (5-1, 3-0). Last week: 6
Yes, Pitt is still a middle of the road ACC team. Yes, we understand they are 3-0 in the conference. If Pitt beats Syracuse this week will that change things? Probably not. If the Panthers really want to make a statement, beating Syracuse by more than 7 would help.
6. Miami Hurricanes (4-2, 1-1). Last week: 5
After back to back losses to Cincinnati and FSU, the Canes got back in the win column thanks to beating a down Virginia Tech team. Miami will get its final huge test of the season this weekend when Clemson comes to town. If Golden wants to cement another season in Miami, a win this weekend could do it for him.
7. Louisville Cardinals (2-4, 1-2). Last week: 8
Louisville got blown out by FSU and gets to move up a spot; #goacc. Luckily, the Cardinals will be 6-4 before we know it thanks to games coming up against BC, Wake Forest, Syracuse, and UVa.
8. Virginia Tech Hokies (3-4, 1-2). Last week: 7
The roller coaster ride that is the 2015 Virginia Tech football season continues. Luckily for the farmers in Western Virginia, Michael Brewer appears to be ready to return to the gridiron and provide some continuity and some actual QB play. If the Hokies want to make a bowl though, they'll have to win either this weekend against Duke or in a few weeks against GT.
9. N.C. State Wolfpack (4-2, 0-2). Last week: 10
Nothing would give me greater joy than for Wake Forest to beat the Wolfpack this weekend.
10. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-5, 0-4). Last week: 9
The Georgia Tech football nightmare keeps going after losing to Pitt. It doesn't look like it'll get any better this weekend when Florida State comes to Atlanta. If the Jackets lose this weekend they'll have to win out just to make a bowl. Holy cow.
11. Boston College Golden Eagles (3-4, 0-4). Last week: 13
BC is going to have to win four of their last five to go bowling, and from what we've seen the last few weeks from Addazio's club, it isn't looking good.
12. Virginia Cavaliers (2-4, 1-1). Last week: 14
It only took a full game and three overtimes, but THEYRE ON THE BOARDDDDDDDDDDDD!
13. Syracuse Orange (3-3, 1-1). Last week: 11
When you lose to UVa, you deserve to drop. It doesn't get any easier this week when Pitt travels to upstate New York. After that? Three straight weeks of FSU, Louisville, and Clemson. I am sorry Cuse fans.
14. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (3-4, 1-3). Last week: 12
Well, you were out of the bottom for a week! Losing 50-14 to an in-state rival does not help your argument to get out of the basement though. But please, oh please, oh please, beat NC State this week.
