Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. For those lucky enough, there's nothing better than waking up, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones, knowing that you're about to eat a wonderful meal. Except when you get to wake up to the University of Virginia Cavalier Marching Band, winning* the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with this outstanding performance.
In case you missed it because you were too busy in the kitchen either cooking or stealing bites, here's the video of that performance, thanks to Facebook user Nate Rathjen. The Cavalier Marching Band played a "swing style" version of the Good Ol' Song.

The Cavalier Marching Band is one of just ten marching bands in the parade, selected out of over 175 applicants.
The trip itself was estimated to cost about $250,000 for the Cavalier Marching Band, who has spent the past year fundraising for the trip. Their trip was supported in part with a $50,000 gift from the UVA Parents Fund Committee, and $25,000 from President Teresa Sullivan.
The band will be returning to Charlottesville on November 27, in time for Saturday's contest between Virginia and Virginia Tech.
