Virginia Head Coach Tony Bennett will have to deal with no longer being the newest, shiniest head coach for Virginia's major programs, following yesterday's announcement of hiring Bronco Mendenhall. (Seriously, I can't get enough of typing Bronco Mendenhall.) Hopefully, he's keeping his mind off the matter by thinking about basketball, where the 10th-ranked Wahoos will be hosting William & Mary in the teams' 80th meeting. Virginia holds a commanding lead in the series, 53-26.
Virginia has won nine straight against W&M. I'm probably going to regret typing this, especially as point guard London Perrantes is likely still out today from his appendectomy last week (he's warming up with the team as I type this, but it's still a game time decision). Sorry in advance.
Tip is at 2:00 PM on various regional sports networks. In the meantime, leave your pre-, in- and post-game thoughts here, and GO HOOS!
