The skinny:
There might not be a recruit in the entire nation that has had a more unusual past 12 months than Warren Craft. Craft originally committed to play basketball at Virginia Tech following his freshman year of high school, but decided to reopen his options after then head-coach James Johnson was let go. Craft maintained his interest in playing college basketball, but also began to contemplate playing football at the next level.
After turning heads on the gridiron in the first two months of the season, Craft earned an offer from the Wahoos, and committed to the Orange and Blue in early January.
Craft is a lightning quick wide receiver, that can turn a 15-yard strike into a 60-yard touchdown in the blink of an eye. The multi-sport athlete joined the football program his junior year of high school, and has not even scratched the surface of his potential yet. While at Fleming, Craft helped lead the revival of the Colonel football program. Can he help do the same at Virginia?
With the depth at wideout ahead of him and his relative inexperience, expect Craft to redshirt this fall.
