The Cavaliers take on Florida State this morning to open their run at defending their ACC crown.

The Hoos had their best season in program history finishing the regular season with 28 wins and 16 of those coming in conference play. As you all know, UVa wrapped up their second straight ACC Regular Season Title and were rewarded with the #1 seed in Greensboro. The Cavaliers were the #1 seed last year, and that turned out pretty well.

Florida State enters today on a two game winning streak thanks to ending the regular season with a win over Pitt and yesterday's win over Clemson. FSU got a little shaky down the end, but were able to hold off a Rod Hall layup and Gabe Devoe three point attempt down the stretch to clinch the win, 76-73.

The Cavaliers and Seminoles met in last year's ACC quarterfinals with the Hoos coming out victorious, 64-51.

Let's hope we see a similar result this year, and maybe even some Justin Anderson action.
