The second-seeded Virginia Cavaliers take on the #15 Belmont Bruins today at just about 3:10 PM in Charlotte, NC. As we noted in our game preview, the Bruins are an outstanding shooting team, ranking 5th in the nation in eFG%. The problem - they're pretty bad at the other aspects of the sport (in that way, they're sorta a poor man's Davidson). That said, if you're going to choose one part of basketball to be good at, shooting is a pretty solid choice.

The Cavaliers will look to pound the ball inside, utilizing a large interior advantage, and avoid the type of slow starts that have plagued the team late in the season (and in last year's first-round match with Coastal Carolina). We'll also have our eyes on Justin Anderson, who looked shaky during the ACC Tournament, but has a whole week of additional practice and recovery time under his belt.

In the meantime, leave your pre-, in- and post-game thoughts here, and GO HOOS!
