NCAA Tournament Cheering Guide: Day 3

There is only one game in the East Region today, and it is kind of a no-brainer. So this cheering guide is going to be short.

The Hoos survived and move on. But they don't play until tomorrow. Still, there is one East Region game today, so here's your cheering guide for that one game.

Game 1: #1 Villanova vs #8 NC State
Hoo Should We Root For: NC State
Why: This is almost too easy. NC State probably shouldn't have advanced, and it took a major collapse by the LSU Tigers. Still, NC State has a talented backcourt and has the ability to knock off Villanova. The ACC is 6-0 right now, and knocking off a #1 seed would be enormous. It would also, obviously, make the Hoos run to the Final Four much easier. The Hoos have beaten NC State twice this year, including on the road without Justin Anderson. Facing them again in the Elite Eight would be a dream scenario for the Hoos.
