Well surprisingly, last night's Wisconsin-Arizona and Kentucky-Notre Dame games were actually entertaining, despite the fact that neither regional championship included a team that starts with V and ends with IRGINIA. Today
|Regional Finals - Sunday, March 29|
|2:20 p.m.||CBS||Syracuse||Louisville vs. Michigan State||Verne Lundquist/Jim Spanarkel//Allie LaForce|
|5:05 p.m.||CBS||Houston||Duke vs. Gonzaga||Jim Nantz/Grant Hill/Bill Raftery//Tracy Wolfson|
You guys tell me...who are you cheering for today? Louisville over Michigan State because screw those guys? or would you rather lose to the eventual national champion? But Louisville put Justin Anderson out for 4-6 weeks and then MYSTERIOUSLY just before Virginia was to play the Cards again, Anderson has to go and get an appendectomy? Something doesn't add up there, right?
Do you root for Duke because they've got a better chance of beating Kentucky than Gonzaga? Or the Zags because, well, Duke? But remember when Gonzaga knocked Virginia out in 2001? Have we forgotten? Have we forgiven?
Probably a college basketball boycott for me today. I see no other possible solution.
