2015 NCAA Baseball Tournament: An infographic for the Lake Elisnor Regional

Virginia was drawn as a three seed in the Lake Elisnor Regional. How do the opponents stack up?

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

The Cavaliers were drawn into the Lake Elisnor Regional for the 2015 NCAA Baseball Tournament.  The regional is hosted by the #1 seed UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.  The USC Trojans hold the #2 seed and the San Diego State Aztecs hold the #4 seed.  The first game takes place on Friday 6PM EST against the Trojans.

Getting out of the double-elimination style regional is the first step for the Hoos to get to the College World Series in Omaha.  Whoever wins the Lake Elisnor Regional will go on to face the winner of the Los Angeles Regional comprised of UCLA, Ole Miss, Maryland, and Cal State Bakersfield.  Then, the winner of that three-game series will earn a spot to play in the College World Series.

UVa has experienced an up and down season to get into this year's tournament and aims to avenge a championship loss against Vanderbilt in last year's College World Series.
