Virginia Cavaliers vs. Vanderbilt Commodores Game 3 GAMETHREAD

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

What: Virginia Cavaliers v. Vanderbilt Commodores

Time: 8:00 PM
Where: TD Ameritrade Park, Omaha, Nebraska
TV: ESPN, WatchESPN

Last Meeting: Virginia won 3-0 last night

Betting Lines: Virginia is +250 and Vanderbilt is -300 on the moneyline

What's At Stake: For both teams, it's win or go home. The national championship is on the line. Each team has taken a game, and tonight decides everything. Everything.

Virginia had an incredible performance last night from freshman centerfielder LHP Adam Haseley, from closer Josh Sborz, and from walk-on Thomas Woodruff.

Tonight, Brandon Waddell will be on the mound for Virginia, with Nathan Kirby likely available as well for some relief. The Hoos are hoping for just a little bit of magic left in the tank as they try to complete their College World Series win. A win for Virginia will give the Hoos the program's first national championship, and the ACC's first since 1955. A win for Vanderbilt gives their program their second-ever national championship, coming back-to-back off of last year's victory.
