Seeking Nominations for Game Day's Greatest in Charlottesville!

With college football right around the corner, it's time not only to start thinking about Virginia Football, but also about all the fall festivities that make game day as perfect as it is. This means you're thinking where to buy your gear, how to set up your tailgate, where you're pregaming, and where the post-party is. And if you're bringing folks into Charlottesville or otherwise spending the weekend in and around town, chances are you'll likely need to find the best day trips as well.

Streaking The Lawn is excited to announce the inaugural Game Day's Greatest reader awards!

The concept is a familiar one. Over the course of the upcoming week, you'll submit your nominees for Charlottesville Game Day's Greatest. Each category represents a different aspect of game day that, when pieced together, will create an experience unlike any other.

The categories are set forth below. Submit your nominations as you wish -- feel free to leave some categories blank, or to nominate the same place for multiple categories. Nominations will be accepted all week, and we'll narrow down to the top-five most nominated establishments in each category and present them for voting the following week or so.
