Virginia absolutely crushes Louisville, Final Score 63-47

Gill and the Hoos dominate Louisville in the 63-47 win.

The #11 Virginia Cavaliers went into #16 Louisville Cardinals coming off an emotional high after the miraculous win over Wake Forest and kept the momentum going, crushing the Cardinals 63-47. UVA's defense led the way limiting Louisville to 47 points, on 32.7 FG%, and forced 18 turnovers. The Cavaliers improve to 17-4 and 6-3 in the ACC while Louisville falls to 17-4 and 6-2 in the ACC. Malcolm Brogdon and Anthony Gill paced Virginia with 13 a piece. It was the worst loss in the 6 year history of the KFC Yum! Center.

Virginia dominated in the first half, going up 29-14 after 20 minutes. UVA's stifling defense set the tone for the rest of the game as the Cardinals were never able to mount a second half comeback. The 47 points were the fewest the Cavaliers have given up on the year.

The Hoos return home to face Boston College on Wednesday after winning both road games this week.
