Virginia plays its first game after some disruption on Friday, when head coach Tony Bennett announced the dismissal of Austin Nichols. There has been nothing official or confirmed as to the reason for Nichols’s sudden dismissal, but one thing is for sure: the team needs to move on.

Luckily for the rest of the Cavaliers, we’re only three games into the season, which means that to the extent Virginia’s game plan had previously centered around the preseason All-American, there’s still time to course correct, and it starts this afternoon against Yale.
